I-PEX Piezo Solutions Opens Cleanroom to Expand Piezoelectric MEMS Foundry Capacity

I-PEX Piezo Solutions Inc., subsidiary of I-PEX Inc. (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; Representative Director and President: Reiji Konishi; hereinafter referred to as I-PEX), held a ceremony on July 9, 2026 to mark the opening of a new cleanroom for its Piezoelectric MEMS Foundry business at the I-PEX Campus in Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

The cleanroom was built to expand production capacity for I-PEX's Piezoelectric MEMS Foundry business, which is built on its proprietary single-crystal PZT thin-film deposition technology.

The event opened with a Shinto ceremony led by company representatives, followed by a ribbon-cutting. Guests were also given an overview of the facility and had the chance to tour the cleanroom.

I-PEX remains committed to driving the continued growth of its Piezoelectric MEMS Foundry business.
