I-PEXの社会貢献2024

As an actor of society, the I-PEX Group is committed to growing together with local communities in a sustainable way by promoting initiatives that contribute to local communities, protect the environment, and support children.

Here we would like to introduce some of the social contribution activities that the I-PEX Group implemented in 2024.

Activities in 2024

As part of our social contribution activities, we sponsor local events and various initiatives held in the communities where we operate. Some of our past activities include hosting programming classes for local residents.

In addition to our past activities, our initiatives in 2024 focused on supporting children, based on our belief that the healthy development of children will lead to the next generation of the future.

Donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Japan

I-PEX donated to the Ronald McDonald House Fukuoka (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), an independent nonprofit organization that establishes and operates facilities where children suffering from illness and their families can stay near medical facilities at low cost.

Donations were collected at four locations for one month: I-PEX Campus (Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture), Ogori Plant (Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture), Onojo Plant (Onojo City, Fukuoka Prefecture), and Tachiarai Plant (Chikuzen Town, Asakura District, Fukuoka Prefecture). We were able to collect a wide range of items—from food to cosmetics and toys—to bring even a little smile to hospitalized children and their families.

Donation to the Food Bank Yamanashi, an authorized NPO

The Yamanashi Plant (Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture) collected surplus food at the plant to donate to the Food Bank Yamanashi, a certified nonprofit organization, as part of its Food Drive Month.

In Yamanashi Prefecture, food donations have decreased in recent years, while the number of households in need of food assistance has increased. In response to this situation, the Yamanashi Plant decided to cooperate as part of its social contribution initiatives.

During the week-long campaign held at the Yamanashi Plant cafeteria in July, a total of more than 30 kg of various food items were collected from employees. These items were provided free of charge to welfare facilities and households in need through the Food Bank Yamanashi.

I-PEX Campus Gymnasium Used by the Local Communities

I-PEX Campus (Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture) is the core center of the I-PEX Group, which opened in 2020 after renovating facilities originally used as a university campus since 1990. Drawing on its past as a university open to the community, the renovated gymnasium of the I-PEX Campus continues to be used for the benefit of the community.

By continuing to make the I-PEX Campus facilities available to the local community, we hope to strengthen our ties with the local communities and contribute to their development.
