I-PEX Inc. (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, Representative Director and President: Reiji Konishi, hereinafter referred to as I-PEX) has become a presenting sponsor of Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting Co., Ltd.'s (hereinafter referred to as KBC) radio program "KBC Weather Forecast" and has begun airing a commercial titled "What is I-PEX?" from Friday, January 2, 2026. In addition, I-PEX has also started running web advertisements, aiming to raise awareness of I-PEX through both radio and the web.
The commercial will feature Takanori Nishida, a familiar face on KBC's information program "Asadesu. KBC," and Erina Ota, who also appears in "Gyutto." Through Nishida repeatedly saying "I-PEX" and Ota asking questions about I-PEX, the commercial introduces I-PEX as "a company that creates the future through manufacturing."
Radio commercial broadcast details
The commercial, "What is I-PEX?", will be aired on KBC Radio's "KBC Weather Forecast," which is broadcast mainly in Fukuoka Prefecture, northern Kyushu, and parts of Yamaguchi Prefecture. The company name will be repeatedly mentioned every Friday when weekend weather forecasts are available, increasing opportunities for people in Fukuoka Prefecture, where more than 70% of I-PEX's domestic employees work, to come into contact with the I-PEX name.

The commercial is set in a baseball stadium and features a baseball player played by Nishida and his manager played by Ota. Nishida repeatedly calls out the name of the company, I-PEX, and Ota asks, "What is I-PEX?", concluding with the narration, "I-PEX, a company that creates the future through manufacturing."
"What is I-PEX?" was aired by I-PEX on KBC's information program "Asadesu. KBC" in 2022 and was well received. This time, it will be aired again as a radio commercial and web advertisement.
