Labor and Human Rights Basic Policy

The I-PEX Group has established its Labour and Human Rights policy in accordance with local laws and regulations, customers' requirements, our CSR Code of Conduct and our Fair Employment Pledge. We are committed to respecting the human rights of our employees and to providing safe and comfortable working conditions in which employees can develop their full potential. We will treat employees with dignity and respect based on the understanding of the international community. We will continuously improve and comply with the following Labour and Human Rights Policy.

  1. 1.To allow freely chosen employment and prohibit the use of forced, bonded, indentured, involuntary prison, trafficked or slave labour.
  2. 2.To not employ young workers (under the age of 15) in any production sites nor stage of manufacturing.
  3. 3.To provide days off, paid leaves, wages and benefits in accordance with the terms of the employment contracts.
  4. 4.To not engage in harsh or inhumane treatment, including harassment, sexual abuse, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, intimidation or verbal abuse of employees.
  5. 5.To not engage in any act of discrimination in recruitment and selection process, promotions, rewards and access to training.
    All assessments will be made on the basis of merit (skills, competence, work experience etc.) regardless of nationality, age, colour, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, disability, religion, pregnancy, political affiliation, union membership or marital status.
  6. 6.To respect the rights of employees to associate freely, to join or not to join labour unions, or to seek representation in accordance with local laws. Employees should be able to communicate freely with managementabout working conditions without fear of reprisal, intimidation or harassment.
  7. 7.To continue to improve our Labour and Human Rights performance by setting and periodically reviewing our objectives.
