The I-PEX exhibition boothI-PEX exhibited at Kyushu Innovation WEEK (GX Decarbonization Promotion EXPO) held at Marine Messe Fukuoka from June 4th to 5th, 2025. We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth.
At the I-PEX booth, three products from the RENERATH series of battery storage system, which reuse used electric vehicle batteries, were exhibited and were introduced as manufacturing solutions that contribute to disaster prevention and the realization of a recycling-oriented society.
We will introduce I-PEX's exhibits at Kyushu Innovation WEEK and its future prospects.
Kyushu Innovation WEEKーKyushu's Largest Combined Exhibition and Business Meeting
Kyushu Innovation WEEK entranceKyushu Innovation WEEK is Kyushu's largest business exhibition specializing in business support. It was first held in 2023 as the Kyushu Office Business Support EXPO. In 2024 it simultaneously held exhibitions on three themes: “Promoting DX for companies and local governments,” “Disaster prevention and crime prevention,” and “Solving local government issues,” welcoming 139 exhibitors and 4,406 visitors.
In 2025, two more themes, “GX/Decarbonization Promotion” and “Tourism” were added, bringing the total number of exhibitions to five themes. The exhibition brought together the latest solutions to the challenges faced by local governments and companies in the Kyushu region, including DX, disaster prevention and countermeasures, GX/Decarbonization Promotion, and tourism.
I-PEX participated in this exhibition to raise market awareness of reused batteries and to disseminate information in Fukuoka, where its production site is located. With the theme of realizing a decarbonized, circular society, I-PEX exhibited three products from its RENERATH battery storage system series: a solar streetlight, a stationary battery storage, and a portable battery storage.
Introducing the RENERATH Battery Storage System Series
The RENERATH battery storage system series is suitable for a variety of uses, including power backup during disasters, power use in homes and facilities, and power supply at events.
Solar streetlights
Solar streetlight*This solar streetlight runs entirely on renewable energy from solar panels, requiring no external power source. It can be used as a streetlight in everyday life, and the built-in battery box can be removed and used as a battery storage in emergencies or power outages.
The solar streetlight can be installed in parking lots, parks, shopping districts, large-scale evacuation sites, etc., and can also be equipped with options such as security cameras and various sensors.
Solar streetlights help stabilize local power supply. Believing that their integration into local infrastructure is essential for promoting renewable energy, we are prioritizing their sales to accelerate adoption.

Stationary battery storage (rated capacity 12.6 kWh)
Stationary battery storageThe stationary battery storage is ideal for small and medium-sized facilities and homes, and can be used as a backup power source in the event of a power outage caused by a disaster, heavy rain, etc. In addition to supporting business continuity plan (BCP), by using a power conditioner, you can reduce your electricity bill by storing electricity generated by solar panels or during times when electricity rates are low, and supplying it during times when rates are high.

Portable battery storage (rated capacity 4.2kWh)
Portable battery storageThe portable battery storage requires no installation work is required and is easy to move, making it ideal for small facilities and offices. It can be used as a backup power source in the event of a power outage caused by a disaster and can also be used for events during normal times. It enables BCP support in any location, including laboratories, medical facilities, public facilities, and offices.

Future Outlook
During the event, people from a wide variety of industries visited the I-PEX booth. They listened attentively to product explanations, demonstrating their high level of interest in addressing environmental issues and efforts to implement a recycling-oriented society.
I-PEX will continue to promote its efforts to establish a process for collecting, testing, remanufacturing, and recycling batteries, and will continue its activities to create a resource circulation loop to solve future energy and environmental issues.
We aim to develop a market for products utilizing reused batteries and will actively be selling these products. Additionally, we will strengthen our online presence and participation in exhibitions to communicate the importance of using reused batteries to a wider audience.
